State of Blake week of 2/22

Politics:

Is Obama really going to cram all of his campaign talking points into his first budget? If so, Good luck. Hopefully this new commerce secretary nominee paid his taxes.

Can we get rid of Kulingoski yet? Revenue problems require revenue solutions.

Film:

Some of the newly released scenes from Watchmen have me pretty excited. I still think theres a real possibility it will bomb though. Still need to see Rachel Getting Married.

Music:

Is U2 even trying to not suck anymore? For those of you who haven't heard their new record you're in store for some of the worst lyrics of the decade.

I'm pretty sure Small Change is my favorite early Tom Waits record but Closing Time has been creeping up on the list. Rain Dogs is still the peak for me.
